I like to think the interdisciplinary nature of my work is the perfect reflection of my personality: a little bit of everything, and a whole lot of fun. I have never been able to limit myself to just one hobby or interest and therefore cannot be limited to just one medium. From painting to sculpture to performance art, I love learning and exploring new ways to connect to myself and others through my craft, whatever that may look like! First and foremost, I am a Community Artist. Creating moments for meaningful engagement is at the heart of everything I do. While this often takes the form of workshops and other educational opportunities, I also greatly enjoy the times I get to express my love for community outside of the classroom. Getting to explore the various neighborhoods, histories, and people around me is beautifully enlightening and keeps me from becoming complacent. These experiences have not only fulfilled me on a personal level, they have made me a better artist.
